"all you can eat" plates take 40 minutes to arrive after ordering WHILE BECOMING SMALLER AND SMALLER! 40 MINUTES FOR EACH ORDER FORTY MINUTES! Atmosphere and decoration are decent, food and drinks were ok too but an all you can eat is absolutely not worth it.

Service is top, friendly waiters and the food is good . reasonably priced

Clients without reservation are considered second class people and are accommodated on the terrace, despite the empty cabin outside. The seats were supposed to be reserved, even though I spent a full hour, nothing has changed! People like me who travel all the time can't always book a table. If I am hungry, I stop and eat somewhere to satisfy my hunger. It is not my business! It is clear? Remember this or I'll never go back!

Was there for the first time today and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. You feel very comfortable there and the service is very friendly. Toilet facilities were also very clean. Everyone got their money's worth, everyone was satisfied. I can only recommend them, we were not the last there. EVERYTHING GREAT

Hello, big praise and thank you. Your hygiene concept is unique, from the placement to the disinfection of the tables, the distance everything is great. We're just a bit scared but luckily we tried it anyway despite the bad reviews. Can't understand that some people rate poorly mainly because of hygiene. Idiots. The receptionist was very nice and the atmosphere was great too. The further service was unfortunately not very good. We waited 25 minutes before we could order and then another 55 minutes for a lukewarm meal ... after we had finished eating, we waited again for 20 minutes until our plates had been cleared and we could finally pay. Unfortunately we were very disappointed.

I haven't been there for some time because, firstly, I can eat convenience food at home, and secondly, you always have to wait thirty minutes for the drink order to be taken (apparently still like that) and deal with the employees from above ( yes, I have noticed that several times) is under all pig. And: regardless of whether it is positive or negative, there are only ready-made answers, which means that you don't even make an effort to respond to the customer. Since zero stars don't go, just one. I would rather go to L'Osteria or Romeo's restaurant

The food here was great and the ambience is very pretty and idyllic. Why this rating. The reason is that although everything outwardly indicates a good hygiene concept, it looks realistically different. No data is recorded according to federal guidelines. Customers can walk around without masks. Tables are too close together. It is sad that people work in this way and that the health of others and employees is put at risk.

I was here three years ago and the service and dishes were delicious. Now the day before yesterday I went to eat here with a friend. I had half a meter of pizza that was black, barely warm, and tasted pretty dry. It tasted so bad that I didn't want to eat it halfway through. The french fries of my companion were also not tasty. Have never had french fries that tasted like this. Looked great, but tasted like cardboard, somehow as if they were a bit older. I was very disappointed.. As for service, we were served by a lady and a gentleman. She was very friendly and tried to make us feel comfortable, but sometimes seemed annoyed. He was super nice, came over and asked us if it tasted good. Came by again of his own accord and asked if we needed something. At the end he asked again how everything had tasted, then I honestly told him that I didn't like it. He spoke confidently and said he'd pass it on to the kitchen. I think it's really good. He is in good condition, but should also wear his mouthguard over his nose. The ambience is great, everything looks nicely decorated, inside and outside. The acoustics outside are sometimes not great, because of the street and the voices are very loud there, even though it wasn't overcrowded. I don't know how the chairs are inside, but the chairs outside are a bit stupid. If you are built wider, you sit a little squashed in them. The location is easy to get to by tram line 18 and by car. All in all, I am disappointed that I spent the money on it ..

The taste of the food is really good, which is why we actually like to go to Cafe Del Sol. But the service is getting worse and worse. The penultimate time we ordered a starter. After about 1 hour my wife got her starter, on request they were told that my tomato soup would be coming soon. Another 30 min. later the main course came together with my starter. I declined this with thanks and you could tell that the waiter was a bit annoyed. Nevertheless this was withdrawn and also canceled * thumbs up * On the last visit with my friends (Saturday afternoon) we wanted to eat schnitzel. The waitress recommended that we take advantage of the all you can eat action. We assumed this with astonishment, since the promotion is actually only valid from Monday to Thursday (but they probably know their promotions better) when the food came, a schnitzel was missing (which is only available in this promotion) on request we were then informed that the action on Saturday does not exist the court would simply not be finished. We would have liked to have at least talked to us and asked questions instead of simply not serving a complete dish. Mainly because the waitress made the action palatable to us.

We went to Cafe del Sol on a weekday today. So it wasn't too crowded. The service is probably not the fastest ... in a nutshell We left the cafe after waiting 30 minutes (and we called twice) because they apparently did not have time to serve us. We will not visit the cafe again and I cannot recommend it, as I have often noticed the slow service. And it would also be nice if you wipe the tables.

Nicely furnished, unfortunately often frozen food, which you can definitely taste (partly frozen shrimp, etc.). In relation to the quality, the relatively high prices don't really fit either. Staff very different, there are very nice and fast waiters, but also some who are rather the opposite, more often simply not yet properly trained. To have a few drinks but still completely ok.

Food ambience service top. I don't understand a lot of reviews I'm here for the hundredth time I've never experienced bad service, let alone waited a long time for food. It's a restaurant not a dirty fast food place. Man is waiting for something to be cooked. Everyone does a great job here, from the cleaning lady to the management. We are regular guests and we realize that the quality of the food is not perfect, but the taste is okay. The ambience is great, but when it comes to the service it's often not that good here. Sometimes you are lucky and are served sensibly, sometimes the shop is as good as empty and you still wait 25 minutes for someone to take the drinks. A shame, but that is unlikely to change as there seems to be a lack of leadership and not of qualified waiters.

We were there with six people at 5 p.m. on a Sunday. The table itself and not really clean in the corona times in the table Rillen Krümmel from many predecessors. We waited an hour for the drinks, it is very loud so you have to scream to talk. We waited another hour for the food and what was the worst, they didn't come at the same time. Someone at our table ordered pizza and received it, we had to wait, when she was done with the pizza our dishes came. We came together to dine together. The food itself doesn't really taste good, it's nothing special like a snack bar with a nice ambience. Service slow, very slow. We had to wait again for the bill. The result was three hours of waiting in a noisy room for mediocre food. If you read the recessions it has been like this for months and nothing changes. Fortunately there are many restaurants where you can eat better.

As a starter I had the tomato soup. It was very sour and tasted like it was out of a can. You soup would be served lukewarm. The main course, a turkey schnitzel with fries, tasted okay, but nothing special. The service seemed to be very understaffed between the food and drink orders and the bill went by forever. Remembered Café de Sol better.

The two of us were here on 07/28/2020 - for the first and last time. The waiters - with one exception - wore their mouth and nose protection either only on their chins or under their noses! Furthermore, guests were not advised that they were not allowed to take a seat at certain tables, because the minimum distance was observed. The icing on the cake was when one of the waiters accompanied 3 guests, who were not wearing masks, to their table. Incomprehensible! The service wasn't really good, very flippant and inattentive. Food was okay. We both wrote a feedback about the Cafe del Sol homepage during our stay at Cafe Del Sol and described the grievances. To date we have not received any feedback / apology or the like. Shameful! I work in the catering business myself and have no understanding of the behavior of the service staff and how complaints are dealt with! Will definitely not enter this shop again.

Café Der Sol Cologne, can only be recommended very great premises, and optically it looks different from the other De Sols. Staff always friendly and competent. I can only recommend the cafe.

The first and the last time... Klassic salad was served incomplete and when they added chicken breasts, it was a pinch of meat .. The wife definitely not eaten up and she is a small woman. The ribs (which I was counting on the most) are a failure! Thin, stringy and rock-hard (it was even hard to separate meat from bones with a knife !!) Plus, the draft was terrible and the music was loud and it was impossible to talk through it. I give one star for service because nice guys and they served us quickly. We had planned a visit to this restaurant for a long time, with the intention of consuming something special and having a good time, but everything that was possible failed. We will not come here again and we will definitely not recommend it Signature Disappointed guests.

Great service! Food was good. But the atmosphere is really great. Unfortunately always very full. A reservation for the same day is not possible, only one day in advance.

Great atmosphere for meet-ups with friends. However in busy times food might not be as tasty, as during standard working hours. Had a dinner in Cafe del Sol for about 5 times. Service were always brilliant.

Sunday Brunch is overall an average experience. Poor selection, but at least tasty. There is fruit, different type of bread, cheese, sausages, eggs, bacon; so everything you would expect but nothing really special. The lunch selection is more poor with one type of fish, 2 types of meat dishes and some vegetables and pasta. Price is quite high for the expectations. Really bothering is the fact that once a dish for lunch is empty they do not refill. I.e. cordon bleu. We asked 1,5 h before the brunch was supposed to end to refill it, but they did not. Better to be there early if you want to see "the full selection". Not recommended in case you have other options.

Meat tasted cheap, Service is super slow and forgot 5 meals of a Party of 15..

The food was really tasty!! Two things bothered me tho.. firstly was how long it took till the food came to us. And secondly the bathrooms... they should definitely check them out.

We could not eat anything: the meat was disgusting. We have been there a group of 15 people and any dish was good.
